It has been confirmed Mariners prospect Adam Jones is in Baltimore to take his physical and a trade to the Seattle Mariners could be announced today or tomorrow. When the deal is finalized MLB officaial believe the Brian Roberts deal is near and it will include Mariners reliever George Sherrill after he is traded to Baltimore, make sense? I suspected Sherrill earlier: http://theivyspeaks.blogspot.com/2008/01/very-strong-possible-holdup-for-brian.html so it seems Sherrill and Roberts are on their way to the northside.
My take: It's a relief all the chaos is ending and Baltimore stopped moving like a snail.
