The San Diego Padres are very interested in Cubs pitcher Mark Prior. Prior and the Padre's general manager Kevin Towers live near each other and are friends. Prior has made it known that he'd like to pitch in San Diego. The Cubs may be able to acquire some up and coming prospects from the Padres.
