Japanese free afent outfielder Kosuke Fukudome is reportedly most likely coming to the MLB. Sources say Fukudome staying in Japan is "unlikely". The Cubs, Rangers, Giants, and White Sox are interested in his services. The Cubs seem to be the most intereste though. A source said that Fukudome is "a poor man's Carlos Beltran" and Loue Piniella said he's a player crossed between Mariners outfielder Ichiro Suzuki and Yankees outfielder Hideki Matsui. Kosuke can play all 3 outfield positions so he could play right field and the Cubs could trade for a centerfielder outfielder Felix Pie is ready to take over the center field job (the center fielder probably wouldn't be a big name one). The Cubs should go hard after his services since their in need of a left handed hitter and an outfielder.
