Today Jason Marquis said that he wants to play for the Cubs and that he wants to start in the starting rotation. He made it clear he wants to be a starter and have no part relieving. Marquis is stating he's starting or he's out. Manager Lou Piniella says there's 7 pitchers fighting for 5 parts and that if taht's Marquis' case that he can go play somewhere else. Marquis says his best part to this team is his pitching. No offense Jason, your pitching wasn't too hot.
My take: If Piniella were smart he'd tell Hendry to trade him, he shouldn't start in our rotation in my opinion.
