John Heyman of Sports Illustrated had a source tell him that the Cubs, Baltimore Orioles Brian Roberts trade talks are getting serious. He notes Jay Payton could come to the Cubs along with Roberts in one of the scenarios discussed. Jason Marquis may also be traded to the Orioles. Heyman says these Cubs players could be players that the Orioles may want to acquire back in return:

We have also heard of other players. It sounds like it is all falling into place.
My take: I'm getting very excited that he will most likely be in our lineup next year.
