According to Bruce Levine of ESPN 1000 the Cubs signed Alex Cintron to a minor league deal. Cintron who was on the White Sox last year, only had 185 AB's and missed a lot of time. The Orioles were interested in Cintron so could this be a sign of a Cubs infielder heading to Baltimore? Who knows.
My take: This is only good if this is setting up a Roberts deal or else it's a waste, good thing its a minor league deal.
