The New York Times reported this month that aramis Ramirez was featured in an issue of a Dominican cockfighting magazine, En La Traba, and is pictured with some roosters. He was quoted "When I'm in the Dominican Republic, I'm dedicated entirely to them (the roosters)." Pedro Ramirez and Juan Marichal were videotaped at a cockfight in the Dominican Republic.
My take: I understand it's a whole different culture down there, I've even been there, but that's still sick. It's definetely not as bad as dogfighting or anything like that but I just hope Ramirez can keep a semi good image.
