Cubs reliever Michael Wuertz signed a 1 year 860,000 dollar deal today to avoid arbitration. Wuertz was good for the team last year and comes at a very cheap price. And just to add he was the only Cub arbitration eligible so no more arbitration deals for the Cubs in 2008.
