The 1st day of Winter Meeting in Nashville, TN already has Cubs rumors. According to Bruce Levine of ESPN Radio 1000, the Cubs are having all sorts of trade discussions involving Mark Prior. The San Diego Padres and the Texas Rangers are two teams said to be interested in the pitcher. The Cubs still have a lot of interest in Kosuke Fukudome, and plan to go hard after him. But if necessary they also have interest in the Oakland A's' Nick Swisher and the Arizona D-Backs' Orlando Hudson. Both Swisher and Hudson are switch-hitters. (Not From Bruce Levine)- The Cubs are interested in Carl Crawford, Brian Roberts, Nick Markakis, Raul Ibanez, Chone Figgins, and posssibly Brain Fuentes as well. The Rockies are interested in Cubs reliever Will Ohman so who knows. The Cubs may also put outifielder Matt Murton on the tuading block. What a crazy day 1, and it still isn't over! We'll see what happens...
