Chicago radio station 720 AM reported that the Cubs made an offer to the Tampa Bay Rays that would send Felix Pie, Ronny Cedeno, Sean Marshall, and Sean Gallagher there and get Carl Crawford back in return. The deal could get done by Monday. Crawford hit .315 hitting 11 homers and driving in 80 RBI's with an OBP of .355, those are good stats for a potential "leadoff hitter" even though Lou will let Soriano leadoff. The Cubs would get the edge in this deal and would give the Cubs a bonafide CF if they choose to play him there.
